You don't need to know the legal name for your case. We handle car accidents involving:
Rear-end collisions
Intersection accidents and failure to yield
Distracted or negligent drivers
Speeding and dangerous driving
Drivers who run red lights or stop signs
Hit-and-run accidents
If you believe the other driver was on their phone or otherwise not watching the road, that's a distinct situation under Georgia law, see our Distracted Driving page for how that can change your case.

View More ResultsA police report records the collision, statements, citations, and visible damage, but it doesn't always capture everything that happened, or why. You're not expected to arrive at the first conversation with a finished case file.
Depending on your accident, we may look for:
Photographs of the vehicles, road, traffic controls, and surrounding area
Dashcam, traffic camera, doorbell, or nearby business video
Witness accounts and statements made at the scene
911 calls, dispatch recordings, and available law-enforcement records
Vehicle information and event-data-recorder information, when relevant
Some evidence can be overwritten, misplaced, or become harder to locate the longer you wait. That's why an early review matters, even when the full picture isn't clear yet.
What if I was partly at fault?
Georgia follows a "50% bar rule": if you were less than half at fault, you can still recover compensation, reduced by your share of fault. If you were 50% or more at fault, you can't recover. This comes up more than people expect, and it's worth a free call before you assume your case is stronger or weaker than it is. (Full explanation: see our Common Questions page.)

You don't need the police report, every medical record, or a legal theory before you call. Start with what you know.
Where and when the car accident occurred, what you remember, what injuries you're dealing with, and whether an insurance company has contacted you.
Once we accept a case, we identify time-sensitive evidence and gather what's needed: records, video, witness information, medical bills, proof of lost income, and handle communications with the insurance company.
Some matters resolve through negotiation. Others need a lawsuit. We explain the options and tradeoffs before you make a decision. No particular result or timeline can be promised.

Get medical attention first, even if you feel fine; some injuries don't show up right away. Photograph the vehicles and scene if it's safe, exchange information without arguing about fault, and hold onto the crash report number, medical bills, and anything an insurer sends you.
Generally, two years from the date of the accident (O.C.G.A. § 9-3-33), but there are real exceptions for minors, government vehicles, and property damage. Don't assume the general rule applies to your situation; call, and we'll tell you exactly where you stand.
Yes, in most cases. Georgia's comparative-fault rule lets you recover if you were less than 50% at fault, with your recovery reduced by your share. If you're unsure how fault will land in your case, that's what the free consultation is for.
No. You can exchange basic claim information, but be cautious about giving a recorded statement or signing anything before getting advice — the other driver's adjuster works for the insurance company, not for you.
Yes. While our office is in Albany, we regularly represent car accident clients throughout Thomasville, Moultrie, Bainbridge, and the rest of Southwest Georgia.
Nothing. The initial case review is free, and if we take your case, there's no fee unless we win.
